This week, we are conducting crack mapping on houses in Kampung Dumpiring, Kundasang, Ranau, Sabah. The village is experiencing ongoing ground movement due to the presence of an active landslide complex in the area.

As part of the Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) program, we are mapping cracks on houses to identify the elements at risk.

Additionally, we have installed a rain gauge to monitor rainfall intensity, which serves as an educational tool for the villagers and helps increase their resilience against landslide hazards.
