This week, we are in the Mesilou area conducting geohazard mapping and a geophysical survey for the new site of SMK Kundasang. The main objectives are to assess the site’s suitability from a geological perspective, with a focus on geohazards, geotechnical, and geophysical factors. The site faces several geological constraints, including the presence of Pinousuk Gravel, its proximity to active fault zones, and nearby earthquake epicenters.
